Alan Pilkington is the author of the much admired Four of Diamonds: An Australian's Journey and American Serengeti.

A native Australian and United States resident since the 1980's, Pilkington was an advertising executive in New York and Chicago. His latest novel, Four of Diamonds, is based partly on real events in his father's life, and his own loves: wilderness, wildlife, hunting and fly fishing. He lives in the Colorado Rockies where he writes fiction and poetry.
