Welcome to the website of author Alan Pilkington
Alan Pilkington is the author of the much admired novels American Serengeti and Four of Diamonds, and of Rivers of My Memory, a collection of short stories and poems.
A native Australian and United States resident since the 1980s, Pilkington was an advertising executive in New York and Chicago. His latest work, Rivers of My Memory, Stories and Poems from Streams and Wild Places, was inspired by his early days on a small Australian mountain stream. It draws on many of his passions: fly fishing, hunting, wildlife and wilderness. He lives in the Colorado Rockies where he writes fiction and poetry.
